Do we need to be Catholic to enrol our child/ren?

No. At St Paul’s, we welcome families of all faiths and backgrounds. Our educational practices are inclusive, and we are always happy to chat further if you have any questions.

Are there opportunities for discounted fees?

Yes. Families may be eligible for the MACS Concessional Fee (further information below). If fees are a concern, please contact the school to speak to the Principal for clarification around options for your situation. As per our school values, no family will be denied a Catholic education at St Paul’s due to financial hardship.

Discounts
Families may apply for a MACS Concessional Fee Discount if they hold a current eligible Healthcare Card, a DVA Gold Card, or satisfy other criteria outlined in the MACS Concessional Fee Policy.

What are the session and bell times:
  • Before school supervision begins: 8.25am
  • School day begins:  8.45am
  • School day finishes:  3.00pm
  • Recess:  30 minutes (plus 10 minutes eating time)
  • Lunch:  40 minutes (plus 10 minutes eating time)
What specialist classes are offered?

Students enjoy specialist classes in:

  • AUSLAN
  • Music/Performing Arts
  • Physical Education
  • Visual Arts
Do students learn another language?

Yes. Students learn AUSLAN or Australian Sign Language with a specialist teacher. 

Does St Paul’s have a canteen?

St Paul’s does not have an onsite canteen.  We do have ‘Hot Lunch & Sushi Days’ twice per term.  Students place their orders online via our school payment app, CDFPay.  Lunches are delivered to school by our local offsite provider.

What secondary schools do St Paul’s students usually attend?

Our students commonly continue their education at:

  • Mater Christi College, Belgrave
  • Mount Lilydale Mercy College, Lilydale
  • St Joseph’s Regional College, Ferntree Gully
Is there Before and After School Care?

Yes.  The St Paul’s Before and After School Care Program is a joint venture, along with the local primary school, through TheirCare. 

Do you have a second-hand school uniform shop?

Yes.  We have second-hand school uniform items available at school for a gold coin donation per item.
